The following requirements should be met by applicants to the master's program in computer science, as admission is competitive:
- a bachelor's degree with a solid foundation in programming, two semesters of calculus, and one semester of linear algebra
- a minimum 3.0 grade point average (GPA) for the previous 60 semester credit hours. In quantitative courses, a minimum GPA of 3.3 is required.
- GRE results. According to the program's student success outcomes, a revised GRE combined score of 308 (153 for verbal and 155 for qualitative) and 4 for the analytical writing components are advised.
