- three (3) units of social science – anthropology, history, civics, political science, economics, sociology, psychology, or geography;
- two (2) units of the same foreign language or American Sign Language demonstrating proficiency through the second level; and
- two (2) additional academic elective units from among these five academic areas and other courses approved by the BOG

- a Physician’s Evaluation Form and a Medical History Form completed by a physician, indicating the applicant’s fitness, mentally and physically to pursue a college level study program
- Documentation of MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) immunization
- Proof of immunization for meningitis and hepatitis B, or a signed waiver indicating the applicant’s informed decision not to be vaccinated
- Applicants must provide proof of medical insurance that complies with the requirement of University policy
- Certification of Finances
- Proof of English language proficiency
- Standardized test score (ACT or SAT)

- UWF offers a payment plan with up to five installments for the fall and spring semesters. The summer semester has a payment plan with up to four installments. The number of available installments is determined by the date of which applicant enrolls in the payment plan
- An account balance of $300 or more is required to be eligible for the payment plan
- Late payments will result in the appropriate late fees assessed to student accounts – tuition $100 and housing $50
- A one-time $15 enrollment charge is assessed in addition to the first payment
