Q: Â Can the students work while studying at UAB?
The university allows students enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate programme to work on and off-campus. International students must meet the minimum requirements and have a legal study visa to work in the country. Students can work up to 20 hours per week while the university is in session and up to 37.5 hours per week during breaks (such as Spring Break and Winter Break). UAB offers various resources to assist students in job search, both on and off-campus, such as Handshake and the UAB Career Center.
