- Chronological-

- It can be uploaded into the application form by the recommender. Letters must be on official letterhead, include personal contact information as well as a signature and must also include a current date
- An academic reference is preferred. Letter from an employer can be useful if the job was related to the field to which applicants are applying, otherwise, such letters are usually not helpful
- LOR must be between 2/3 of a page and one page
