1. Richard G. Lugar Academic Recognition Award: A scholarship of USD 17,000 to USD 20,000 per year is offered to international students based on their high school GPAs and academic skills. Students are required to have a GPA of 2.5 to 2.7 to renew the scholarship every year. 

2. Horizon Grant: A scholarship of USD 13,500 to USD 15,000 per year is offered to the students based on their high school GPAs and academic skills. Students are required to have a GPA of 2.0 and full-time attendance for scholarship renewal every year.

 

Leadership Scholarships:

1. Legacy Award: A scholarship of USD 1,500 annually is offered to freshmen undergraduate students whose parent or grandparent is an alumnus or holds a degree from the university. Students are required to have a 2.0 GPA and full-time attendance to renew the scholarship every year. 

 

Transfer Student Scholarships:

1. Transfer Academic Award: A scholarship of USD 5,000 to USD 15,000 is offered to the students based on transferable university-level credit hours and GPA. A GPA of 2.0 to 2.7 and full attendance are required to renew the scholarship.

When do the admissions start?

 

Students can apply to UIndy twice a year. Applications for the Spring session begin in January, and the Fall admissions start around August. 

The University of Indianapolis is currently accepting applications from native and international students for Spring, scheduled to start in January. Apart from this, students can also apply for the Fall session that will begin in August.

Students can use UIndy or the Common Application portal to fill their forms and apply to their chosen programs. The institution is also accepting registration for summer classes in over 200 domains.

The University of Indianapolis allows international students to work on-campus or off-campus if they have a valid study permit. Students are required to have an F-1 visa status to work part-time or full-time in the country. The following are the off-campus and on-campus employment guidelines and eligibility criteria:

On-Campus Employment

The eligibility for on-campus employment includes the following:

• International students must have an I-20 issued by the university. 

• International students must be enrolled in a full-time program at the university and maintain lawful immigration status.

• Students can work for a maximum of 19 hours a week during a semester. During vacations, students are allowed to work for 40 hours a week or full-time. 

If students are offered a position, the employer will give students three forms, I-9, Federal and State Withholding Forms, and a Green Work Authorization Form. Students will be required to complete all three. To complete the I-9 form, students must bring their passports and I-94 card. Off-Campus Employment

Meal Plans

First-year students can buy the Block 304 plan to get access to 5-meal trades (USD 350 discretionary funds excluded). This plan provides unlimited access to the 921 dining hall. There is a different meal plan for returning students. Students living in residence halls need to pay for the Block 304 plan, while Block 240 and 192 are available to students living in campus suites.
