- All science courses must have been taken within the last 7 years at time of application
- Grade of “B” or better required for all prerequisite courses
- Observation and online lab waivers will be approved on an individual basis
- 40 hours of observation required in at least 2 different practice settings (download observation documentation form for specifics)
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in any field prior to start of program
- At the time of application, prospective student must have a minimum of 9 credits of prerequisite hours complete. Additionally, there should be no more than 2 outstanding prerequisites for fall semester prior to start of program
- Prerequisites Course:
- Human Anatomy & Physiology with Lab - Or equivalent of (1 human anatomy course + lab) and (1 human physiology course + lab)
- Physics or Upper Level Biomechanics or Upper Level Kinesiology - For applicants interested in the January 2022 class, Biomechanics and Kinesiology may be considered if it is junior or senior level with a lab. Junior and Senior level courses are 3000 or 4000 or 300 or 400 level courses

- Abnormal Psychology
- Human Development - Must cover the lifespan
- Sociology
- Medical Terminology - May be taken online, credit or no-credit
