- A basic foundation in business is required to prepare students for the graduate-level MBA program. Students may satisfy these prerequisites through foundation coursework, prior undergraduate coursework, or proving competency by exam. The basic foundation consists of competency in mathematics as well as the business foundation areas of Accounting, Economics, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Organizational Management, and Statistics
