UND provides on-campus accommodation for students. The cost to live on campus varies by living option. Residence Halls are billed similarly, while apartment-style housing and on-campus apartments vary by unit type.
It has many residence halls and over 850 on-campus apartments. Some of the amenities that are provided to students who live on-campus include maintenance, bed lofts, internet, laundry and more. Note that all the first-year students are required to live in a residence hall, on-campus for their first, full-academic year. According to the College Housing facts, 34% of on-campus students return to live on campus for another year. Also, 1 of 4 students continues living on campus in their second year.
All students that live on campus in the residence halls, except for those living in Swanson Hall, are required to purchase one of the anytime access meal plans. Students who live in off-campus housing, Greek housing, Swanson Hall, Apartment-Style Housing, and UND Apartments are able to select from the non-residence hall student meal plan options.
