University of San Diego Transportation

The closest airport to the University of San Diego is the San Diego International Airport. The distance from the airport to the university is approximately 6 miles. The university does not offer airport pick-up or shuttle services; Students can take the taxicab fare from the San Diego International Airport to the university with a fare cost of approx. USD 30 (INR 2,522) along with a USD 10 tip to the cab driver. The fare charges may vary as per the standardized electronic meter.

If students arrive at the Los Angeles International Airport, it is advised that they book a flight from Los Angeles to San Diego. Another convenient mode of transportation is a shuttle service. Students can also take the train from Los Angeles Union Station and board the bus that connects the LAX Airport to the Union State and arrives at San Diego Old Town station. Students can then take a taxi to the campus.

University of San Diego Parking Facilities

First-year students at the University of San Diego are now allowed to park on campus, however, students with any medical or disability-related needs may apply for an exception to receive a parking permit. Second-year students are allowed to bring their vehicles to campus with an e-permit for their assigned areas. The parking timings run between 7:00 am to 7:00 pm from Monday through Friday.
