- Students with a strong background in computer sciences or a related field are encouraged to apply for admission. At a minimum, the applicant should have had some programming experience, including courses in data structures and machine organization, and should have had a year of college-level mathematics at the calculus level or above
- A minimum undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) of 3.00 on the equivalent of the last 60 semester hours (approximately two years of work) or a master’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 is required
- Applicants from an international institution must demonstrate strong academic achievement comparable to a 3.00 for an undergraduate or master’s degree
- India Specific: Students must have completed 4 year bachelor degree; 3 year bachelor degree followed by completed master degree; 3 year bachelor degree followed by certain postgraduate diplomas that are either AIU (Association of Indian Universities) or AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) approved; these postgrad diplomas are all evaluated individually
