Those who complete a Ph.D. and/or Post-Doctoral studies after getting scholarships through GRE or TOEFL may find microbiology jobs at foreign universities or Research and Development (R&D) wings of major pharmaceutical companies. Research opportunities in urban disease control, formulation research, clinical research, analytical development and new drug development are exploding too, with major companies investing in R&D. One can always teach, though its advantageous to have a doctorate for such a path. Self-employed microbiologists can set up their own laboratories. Thank you.

You can check your eligibility to apply for an A.M.E. Course after B.Sc. From the criteria mentioned below:
the eligibility criteria for 4 years A.M.E. Course. Candidate Must have passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM) or Three Year Diploma in any branch of Engineering
B.Sc after 10+2 with maths, physics, and chemistry. In order to get a Government or private job, the candidate must have an A.M.E. License which is issued by the Director-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. Interested candidate can apply for the national level entrance exam of A.M.E.
