The course in nutrition is a holistic package, which provides opportunities to the learner to gain knowledge about nutrition and public health. It also enables the learners to develop skills in communicating nutrition and health-related information to the community.

The eligibility required for R&D exams is graduation in nutrition and dietitian, post-graduation Diploma in nutrition and dietitian or Master's degree in nutrition and dietitian.
Six months internship (Or 3+3 months) from recognized hospitals or two year experience in a multi-specialty hospital as full time dietician is also required.
