Biochemistry: Stryer
Cell biology: Lodish
Molecular biology: Watson
Plant physiology: Taiz
Ecology: Peter Stiling
Developmental Biology: Gilbert
Genetics: PierceGo through the reference books and make short notes. Note down the important details in it as you cannot go through the things all over again. Leave enough space to add more points. To tackle a boring chapter read the only important sections. Practice a lot of MCQs to the tricks and twists in the questions which may otherwise lead to silly mistakes and negative marking. Hello,
Here I am suggesting few tips that will surely help you in preparing well for earth Science. From the destined time of your preparation, assign one month for Part A. Prioritize the important & easy topics so that within a very short time you may cover a huge part of CSIR NET Earth Science Syllabus http://bit.ly/2TP1ZL6. Keep on revising the concepts on daily basis. Solve previous year test papers and check how you would have performed if you had appeared in the last sessions. You will have an idea that will you be able to clear the cut off. Be consistent towards your efforts, everything will be well.

Hello, The UGC (University Grants Commission) has set a UGC NET Qualifying Criteria.
The cutoff marks for JRF and for Lectureship are different.

You must check out the important topics first. For inorganic, you need to revise regularly. For organic, have a grasp on the concepts and understand the mechanism. No, it is not important to go for coaching for CSIR UGC NET Exam. One can prepare on his/her own provided having good fundamentals. Along with this if your M.Sc has been really specific then you should go for coaching. Even after coaching there is no guarantee of the syllabus as they leave a big portion in many cases. A candidate must rely on Quality CSIR NET Study material for the preparation. Just stick to the syllabus and study to the point, practice a variety of questions for conceptual clarity.
