Hi Madhujit Rana, this is difficult to answer. If you are planning to work outside India then few years work experience in India is required, also the institute and its recognition, your academic percentage, coursework, internships and projects other activities like scholarships, awards, extracurricular activities, recommendation letters etc. Will be seen.

Oracle DBA will definitely be in action as long as the databases are there. But, we need to keep improving our self and update with the latest technologies. For example as of now, traditional DBA work is minimal as the databases itself has convenient monitoring and alert systems (Oracle Enterprise Manager). All the work which DBA used to do manually are now automated with this solution. Some of the things you can involve yourselves with are database design, performance optimizations, and architecture and building solutions catered to specific requirements.
