M.A. In Economics is a professional course which enables high career development in this field and also provides wide scope in this area of study. The various colleges take their own respective entrance exams for this course joining. The eligibility requirement for joining this course is 10+2 in any stream from a recognised board of education with aggregate marks of at least 50% along with having a Bachelor's degree in economics or another relevant field of study like B.A. Economics or B.Sc. Economics, with the minimum marks required by the university.

B.Com course eligibilty depends on the college you are doing it from. Generally throughout India, you are eligible to join B.Com if you have passed your class 12th with atleast 50% marks with any stream. In some cases, the colleges require a commerce background but Science stream students can also join the course passing the entrance and minimum eligible marks.

Hi Simran as you know now is the world of technology only. Most of the colleges don't have this kind of major options available. So I will surely recommend you to do your B.Com (Hons). Major in Information Technology instead of economics and it will be a better option for you. So just go for information technology
