It is one of the toughest exam, as compared to other engineering exam like VIT, SRM. Your preparation should be extremely good in this. Some of the tips you can consider are:
Basic concepts should be clear from B. Pharmacy textbooks. For better practice candidate should sketch molecular structures. Cover the syllabus and focus on important topics and prioritize your topics and sub topics accordingly. Practice previous year papers. You will come to know about your weakness and strengths which will help in your examination.

There is no age bar for applying to the Masters Programmes in NIFT. Eligibility for Masters Programmes Design, Management and TechnologyDesign: M. Des (Master of Design)
Candidates must have successfully completed any of the following:
Undergraduate Degree in any discipline from any Institute / University recognised by law in India or
