Hi Shivani, As of now, there is only one university which offers open minors, I. e subjects from other disciplines in any programme as additional/optional subjects. That is LPU. You can pursue B.A. In history and take Food tech subjects as open minors or you can pursue B.Sc. Food tech and take history open minors. However it is suggested to contact university through their website and confirm about the open minors availability in your preferred subjects. Thanks.

If your target is UPSC then college does not matter but it is always good to choose the best option available. Shivaji and PGDAV both are affiliated to University of Delhi. So, there is not much difference, be it year of establishment or brand name. But Shivaji colleges is ranked 51st in NIRF ranking 2020. While making a choice between the two you should consider nearness, extra courses, other activities like N. C. C, N. S. S and other extra circular setup. Best wishes.

Hello Nandhini, it could create issues definitely. This is so since institutions abroad are looking for students with outstanding academic career. But there are many cases wherein students weak in academic performance do get admission. This is because criteria of these instructions is not only academic performance but many more things. In view of this I would advise you to seek guidance from the other agencies dealing in sending students to Germany for studies. Best wishes to you.
