Before M.Phil, you need to complete UGC NET to become a lecturer. M.Phil can be required to advance your career and become permanent with the organisation.

No any distance, even most of the full time PG Diploma are not equivalent to a Masters degree, hence, you are not eligible to apply for any M.Phil program. You may pursue an MBA or a Masters program such as MA education and then you can pursue M Phil. Please note that you can pursue M.Phil only in the subject in which you hold a Masters degree.

There is no need to do M.Phil first.There is no need of double master degree for doing the PhD course. You need just single master degree in order to take admission in the PhD course, Any student who have minimum qualification of the master degree with at least of 60% marks can do the PhD course.
There is no age criteria for taking admission in the Phd Course. Anybody can take admission in the PhD course.

In a majority of universities, the eligibility criteria for M.Phil is a post graduation degree. Engineering graduates are advised to do M.Tech Ph.D.

Yes, it is possible you may apply to TISS (alone MPhil is not available you have to do integrated M Phil and PhD) and you may search other institutes too.
Please also note that institutes may ask UGC DEB approval and AICTE approval to your distance MBA program.
