The course is meant for graduates. I am not sure if they consider diploma holders. I would suggest you to contact the institute directly for the guidance.

The candidate must be a graduate from a well recognized university in a relevant stream to get eligible for the course. There is no such age limit mentioned on the official website of the college. It would be recommendable to get in touch with the college officials for the detailed information.

So, you can leave maths if you want to do mass communication.
