Eligibility for B.Sc. In Nautical Science. As a minimum criterion of eligibility, the course requires the candidate to have attained the 10+2 qualification in the Science stream with Physics, Math and Chemistry as main subjects, and a minimum aggregate score of 60%.

You can join the merchant navy from age 16 as an officer cadet or as an apprentice able seafarer (deck). You'll need at least 4 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), including English, maths and physics (or combined Science) or equivalent qualifications. If you have A levels or equivalent, in maths or Science, you could do an industry-backed HND, foundation degree, or degree. Subjects include nautical Science, and navigation and maritime Science. If you already have a degree, you'll usually be able to join a graduate programme and train as an officer in a shorter time. You'll need to pass a medical exam which will includ

There is nothing called water merchant. In defence, I am assuming you mean to say Indian Navy that protects and safeguards the country's exclusive economic zone, the ocean resources and the coasts from any invasion. You can apply online. But in addition to IMUCET, you also have to clear sponsorship exams of shipping companies, these exams are now heavy on competition and candidate has to get sponsored by a good company to secure admission in IMU courses.
