The minimum eligibility criteria for joining merchant navy is:
1. The eligibility for joining merchant navy is finishing class 12 with physics, chemistry and mathematics.
2. Candidates have to be unmarried Indian citizens (male or female).
3. Normal vision is required but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be allowed.
4. Admission is through an entrance followed by a screening test and a main written examination.
5. After clearing the test, there is an interview and a medical test.
6. You also need to complete a ship-training course prior to the employment. The course is generally short-term where the candidates are taught basic s

"10+2/ equivalent (PCM-60% and minimum of
50% marks in English subject in 10th / 12th
Examination.) In case of SC/ST candidates there will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks;

First a little disclaimer. If all traveling jobs were easy, everyone would be doing this. Many of these professions require passion, specialized training, time commitment, and talent. For those that dont, the pay just isnt great.
