You are not eligible to seek admission in B.Sc Nautical Science unless you have PCM subjects in 10+2 stage. You are advised to appear for additional Maths subject examination in 10+2 to become eligible for seeking admission in B.Sc Nautical Science.

Hello Shivam,
Merchant Navy officers are working along ships. These sail in waters and as a result you are away from home for long periods of time. So, to compensate, many companies offer such arrangement but it's not the rule.

Qualification: 10+2 with physics and maths.
Age limit: 16 to 19 years
Graduate Special Entry:
Examination: CDSE (Naval Academy)
Qualification: B.Sc in physics & maths or BE
Age limit: 19-22 years
NCC Special Entry:
Examination: None/direct entry
Qualification: B.Sc in physics & maths or BE with NCC Naval Wing Senior Division C Certificate

Candidates wishing to enter the navigational and engineering fields of Merchant Navy need to complete their B.Sc. degree in mechanical or marine engineering, before they can gain admission to the field. In some cases, students who have completed their 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) are eligible to join as Deck Cadets.

HI Sourabh,
The starting salary of a Naval officer comes under Pay Band-3/15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs.6000 and Military pay of Rs.6000. Though these numbers have been changed after 7th PC, for which you follow the official Indian Navy site.
