Hi Samoyed,
There are no maths and science questions in NID entrance exam. They conduct a design aptitude test (that) which is meant to judge your creativity. This test is followed by a studio test. Please refer to this link for a detailed information https://www.shiksha.com/design/communication-design/exams/nid-entrance-exam/pattern

Hi Vanshika,
Please mention from where did you download the sample papers. Is it from Shiksha or some other website? Also, the sample paper those are available online are for reference purpose only, to give you an idea about the exam pattern. For practicing purpose, it will be better to refer to the coaching guides available in the market.

NID tests the general aptitude in regards to design. Not only aptitude, but one's general knowledge is also tested.
Logical questions that require common sense are also asked.
In subjective section one is tested with the capability of creative and innovative ideas that one can depict through the drawings.

For automobile designing the best college I can suggest is IIT Mumbai or IIT Delhi other than that you can appear for NID.
In comparison to NIFT, for automobile designing, NID is better.
