In my opinion if you pursue M.Sc from a good reputed university where placements are offered and if you have skill then you can definitely get a job in a pharmaceutical company. Currently the pharmaceutical sector is on boom.

Candidates qualifying in the written test and having a valid fellowship for pursuing Ph.D. will be shortlisted to appear for interview at CCMB. The eligible fellowships include national level fellowships (JRF/ SRF of CSIR, UGC, DBT, ICMR), DST-INSPIRE or any other equivalent fellowship for pursuing Ph.D.

Yes, definitely you can do Ph.D. by two means either as regular or either as part-time mode. If you are in regular government service and want to study higher education, then you can do by taking study leaves up to some years in regular mode or you can opt for part-time mode by taking permission from your head of the department to pursue it.
