The companies which come for RM are the same as those that come for all other marketing courses. So you'll have HUL, Nestle, godrej, lg, tata motors etc. The average package as of now is 9.3 lakh. Placements are practically 100%.

Hi Dheeraj,
It is better if you can specify a particular country so I can list out the best from the country. Otherwise you may check QS MBA ranking. UK and Singapore are good places for the same.
Hope this helps.

General courses always gives more flexibility than sectorial programs. Kj is better college than we schools but I think you should choose welingkar pgdm.

As part of RM, you will essentially be a marketing student. As such, you will be allowed to sit for all marketing profiles which the college gets like Business development, b2b sales, product management, deputy manager etc. Moreover, as the course is oriented towards the retail sector, it may give you an edge if a retail company comes for recruitment.

Retail as a sector is flourishing in India. MBA with a specialization in Retail will give you placement with known retail brands at a senior strategy level. However within retail.there are further specializations possible like visual merchandizing, purchase, merchandizing, retail design etc. Future prospect is good and after MBA starting salary may be in the range of 6 - 15 lakhs pa depending on the reputation of the college & the brand! ATB :)

Since you are a graduate you must pursue a masters degree program or a one year PG Certification course. MBA gives you the option to specialize in Finance which will give you entry into financial sector/banks for job. A one year certificate in Finance or a course like CFA also can make your entry into banking possible. ATB! :)
