To become a government teacher, aspirants should have the basic qualification required for the level that the aspirants aim to teach, that is, Primary, Elementary and at Intercollegiate level. Hi,
As per NCTE norms, regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary or higher secondary schools in Tamil Nadu, recognized by State / Central government, with a minimum of two years teaching experience are only eligible for admission into Annamalai University Distance Education B.Ed course. So,you can apply for B.Ed.

Having an appropriate degree:Teaching requires different levels of degree depending upon the level of middle or high school teaching. Primary school teaching requires Ted. (Diploma in teaching education), a 2-year Diploma programme having a 12th pass as a minimum qualification. To be eligible for the post of lecturer you need to clear NET exam. For NET you need to have Masters degree in any discipline from a recognised university. You must have obtained minimum of 55% marks in your PG to appear for this test.
