Hello,
The NTA has released the UGC NET Result 2019. You can check your result by visiting the official website of NTA UGC NET. To qualify this exam you have to clear the minimum cutoff marks. Once you qualify the UGC NET Exam, then it will be so easy to get a job as an Assistant Professor. Reservation is available for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and for other categories. So, it is a plus point for you. Hello,
To become eligible for lectureship or teaching on should have to clear the National Eligibility Test. Your experience in teaching doesn't affect the eligibility for the NET Exam.
As you have completed Master's degree in Arts and if you are interested to pursue your career as a teacher or lecturer then it will be beneficial for you to choose the field without any hesitation.
You can go for UGC NET Exam that will provide you the certificate to become a lecturer.If you have got the interest in any other field than teaching, then go for it. Never compromise with your dreams.

There are some reservation criteria in UGC NET Exam for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and Transgenders. If you qualify the UGC NET Exam with having 54% aggregate marks in postgraduation, it is fine.
