Hi,
Yes, you can apply for B.Ed. The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed course is Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) form a recognised board/university with at least 50%.

If you want to go in the field of teaching, then you should opt for M.Com, but in coming year Ph.D is required for teaching in universities, so you must have to do that as well. Along with that you need to clear exams like UGC NET JRF in order to teach in the universities only that will be worth. All the best.

JB, TGT is a state level exam and conducted by respective states as per their requirements because you have not mentioned about the state, So I am giving here the details about the KVS TGT exam. KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan) TGT Prelims consists the two part as part-1 and part-2 with total 150 Objective Type questions to be answered in 3 hours. However, for preparing the merit list in Prelims, marks of only Part-1 is considered (110 marks). In Part-2, you just have to score the qualifying marks only. Details of these two parts of KVS Preliminary Examination are given below:

The eligibility criteria of B.Ed distance education course is elaborated below: -
The applicants must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Arts, Science, Commerce and Engineering streams in order to apply for distance B.Ed course. Candidates who wish to take up distance B.Ed must be trained in-service teachers in elementary education. Candidates who have completed teacher education programme recognized by NCTE in a face-to-face mode are also eligible to apply. Candidates who have at least two years of teaching experience in primary or upper primary schools can also take up distance B.Ed course. Thanks.
