As per the eligibility criteria of UGC NET Exam, you must have completed the Masters programme with at least 55 % marks in the Postgraduate programme. The UGC NET Exam has no age limit you can appear in the UGC NET Exam at any age if you completes the above criteria. There is an age limit criteria for JRF where a person can get scholarship, the age limit is 30 years to gain the scholarship of UGC NET Exam (for reserved and female candidates the age limit is 35 years). The UGC NET Exam is conducted in two phases UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2. The UGC NET Paper 1 is conducted in the General Aptitude section while the UGC NET Paper 2 is conducted in the subject you have completed Masters programme.

You can do the B.Ed from IGNOU as you have teaching experience. IGNOU is more desirable for the students of today than any other university. Bachelor of Education or B.Ed. From IGNOU is recognised by the National Council for Teachers Education. It is probably the only university that has a flexible class with the degree that is recognised globally. Eligibility:
Candidates with:
a)at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelors Degree and/or in the Masters Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, and
b) The following categories are eligible to be students of B.Ed. (ODL): (I)Trained in-service teachers in elementary education. (ii)Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognised teacher education programme through face-to-face mode. The reservation and relaxation of 5% marks in minimum eligibility will be provided to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/PWD candidates as per the rules of the Central Government.
