That is totally at the discretion of the college authorities. Most colleges do conduct an interview to have a better understanding of your area of interest, knowledge about the subject, etc.

To become a teacher in a government school, you have to pursue graduation and then B.Ed from any recognised university. After completing B.Ed, you can apply for different vacancies and entrance test and based on the entrance test, you can become a government teacher.

It is very nice to know, that you are looking for career in teaching line. For employment in school, you will be required to obtain B.Ed. On the other hand, for employment in college, you need MPhil or PhD. You should clear NET exam also.

Yes, you can appear for the same.
The eligibility to be a teacher for classes I-V, you need to be Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
