Eligibility to be a Lecturer:
Educational Qualification :
To be eligible to be a lecturer one should hold at least a Master Degree in any of the relevant subject with at least 55% marks in it. Higher qualifications are always preferred. Interested candidate has to appear in UGC-NET exam which is held twice a year and pass it. After clearing UGC-NET exam one is eligible for applying as a lecturer in any college affiliated with any of the university recognized by UGC in India. 1) u r not eligible to do B.Sc.ag, as u not study botany,
2) doing BCA/B.Sc.ch/CS is suggest for u
3) choosing engineering. courses also make u want
4) selection of subject is more important at all
5) get idea about subjects through net/Google, lecturers

It is suggested that you do MTech and join engineering college as a lecturer. You can do PhD during your teaching career. If you want to become a school teacher, you can apply even now. BEd degree will be value add to become a school teacher. By the way as a teacher your salaries will be low in comparison to MNC IT professional. Therefore, you are advised to take decision after lot of due diligence. ( I moved to teaching after 35 years in IT therefore I am asking you to review your decision before taking action)

It is an exam that you have to give for lecturership in senior college.
Eligibility :
1) You must have 55%+ ( B Grade ) at least in M.Com ( you can give exam after completion of your first year M.Com also. )
It is an Central Government exam. You can give SET exam also ( Maharashtra Government ).
If you passed NET, you can apply for all India colleges for Lecturership and if passed SET, you can apply for all Maharashtra colleges for lecturership.
