To become a lecturer in english you have should complete Bachelor and than Master in english further you have to apply for NET exam or you can enroll for PHD programme .
Than you can apply for lecturer in any college .

Hi,To becoming a lecturer it is not necessary to having PHD degree. You just need to have minimum 55%marks at your post graduation degree than you can appear for UGC NET exam. If you could able to clear this exam there after you can apply for the post of lecturer at any colleges. hope i could help you

To teach at post graduation or graduation level you will require minimum PhD in your chosen subject. As a teacher you will have to work hard to grow from lecturer to Professor.

Based on Government schools requirement following qualifications are required for different level of teachers (a) For PGT candidates are required to be postgraduate and B Ed (b) For TGT candidates are required to graduate with B Ed (c) Primary teacher Class XII with JBT (d) Nursery teacher Class XII .
