1. Have passed high school or equivalent qualifications from a recognised board.
2. Have completed a degree or equivalent Diploma course in music from a recognised government music college.
3. In case you don't have either, you need to have completed a four-year Certificate course from a government music college.
4. The age requirements are comparable to those for other teaching positions in Andhra Pradesh TET, I. e. , 40 years.

1. The candidate age limit to apply for an HSST vacancy in Kerala Government service is 20 to 40 years. OBC and SC/ST categories are eligible for Upper age relaxation.
