Hello,
For appearing in the NET Exam, it is necessary for a candidate to qualify his post-graduation with 55% of marks (50% for other categories). As you said you are in your 1st year of M.Com. So, do not worry because you can start your preparation from now. You can follow the below link:

But, you can fill the form when you are in your final year of M.Com and your result is still awaited, but you will be eligible after having passed a Master's Degree or Equivalent Degree.

Hello Rehbar,
Definitely, to become an assistant professor, Ph.D. is mandatory (however, it will be effective from 2021). You can apply in IIT's and NIT's and in universities. You also can apply for research work in IIT colleges. After clearing the NET Exam, you will be able to teach in a private university but to become a government lecturer or an assistant professor's job, you have to complete your doctorate degree.

Hi, the results for UPTET conducted in December 2018 were supposed to be out by last week of February 2019. You can check on their official website - upbasiceduboard. Gov. In. The UPTET Eligibility Certificate can be collected from the District Education Board Office. Candidates will have to provide their UPTET Admit Card and a valid Photo Identity card in order to collect the UPTET Eligibility Certificate.

You can apply when you will be appearing in 2nd year. For preparations download syllabus from CBSE website. Go through news papers for paper 1 and for paper 2, read your subject related content done at graduation and post graduation level along with research methodology in general and related to subject.

Now, the criteria to pass NET exams are changed. Now, there is no down limit of marks to pass the exams instead now the passing structure is based on the merit basis means the top ranged candidate will be selected. So, all the very best.

Hello Samiksha, According to the norms of the NTA you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET but not with the HRM-55. There is a rule to choose the subject code. Candidate can apply in the subject in which they have completed their Masters or with the related subject. As per the given details you are eligible for Commerce as your Masters are done from the commerce stream.
