Hello Nlmiya,
Yes, you can appear for UGC NET environmental science according to your post-graduation subject. Make sure that you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks if you belong to General category or if you belong to OBC/SC/ST/PwD category then you will get the relaxation in percentage of aggregate marks. According to guidelines of NET exam there is an age criteria also, i.e. if you want to apply for NET JRF then your age must not exceed 30 years. For assistant professor this criteria is not applicable.

Hello Sonia,
No, you can't. If you are pursuing MCA 6th semester (final year) then you are eligible for the UGC NET December exam. You are in the 5th semester now, so you have to wait to appear for the NET exam.

As you have done PG in Chemistry, there is a vast scope for you. Your NET rank is also good, so you can apply for lectureship. If you are interested in business, you can start your own business like the pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry, etc.

Hello Dhanashri,
The UGC NET exam is conducted for the lectureship at the university and JRF awards in research and developments. The minimum eligibility is post graduation post the UGC NET exam. The candidates are allowed to apply for the subject of their post-graduation or its related subjects. As you have completed M.Com, you may apply for the UGC NET commerce. The syllabus will comprise deep knowledge of the post-graduation subjects.

Hi,
Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor equivalent positions.

Hi,
To become a lecturer in college, you have to complete Post Graduation in the subject you want to become a Lecturer. To become a Lecturer you have to apply, appear and crack NET (National Eligibility Test) examination conducted by UGC two time a year for selection of Lecturer. The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed Post Graduation with at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidate) from a recognized University. Thanks.
