If you want to be a travel journalist for print media, the answer will be yes. But, if you want to be a travel journalist with broadcast media, the answer is may be. This difference in answer is because of the course you have specified. BA in English (Hons.) will help you improving your English skills but the skills of speaking in a TV show, hosting a show, facing the camera are the things that are taught in a mass communication course and have nothing to do with English (Hons.).

Generally, travel journalists working with broadcast media earn more in comparison to the ones working with the print media.
