I had commerce and most of the preparation for NET was from Graduation books. Hence, I could qualify it in the first attempt itself. One more positive aspect is that the exam cycle for both the exams is different which can be taken advantage of. NET is a one time thing. Strategy-
The strategy would depend on when you are starting your UGC NET http://bit.ly/2FSok2K preparations. If I assume that you want to attempt NET and Cgl you can give around 45

Hello,
While preparing for UGC NET English, be clear with the fact that it has a very vast syllabus so you to give it enough time to prepare. First of all go through with your M.A. Coursework, it won't take much time, just afresh it in mind, just for having a general idea of topics like Major authors & their works and literary periods ( From Chaucer to contemporary)
Now pick up any standard History book from British literature, some options are David Daiches, Edward Albert, W H Hudson. Collect the maximum information about the important author/critic & their work. Practice previous year test papers & UGC NET http://bit.ly/2FSok2K Online

Hello Aspirants!
It is a myth that people working for 9-10 hours per day cannot devote their time to the preparation of UGC NET. It is not only possible to prepare during your work phase but also possible to crack the exam ultimately. I am going to share a few tips that might help you to prepare while you work. First, you need to be consistent in your preparation. Time constraint is not a big problem if you are studying every day for the exam. Chart out a timetable where you can divide the topics of your concerned subject into time slots. Finish the topics on time and do not keep backlogs. The second thing is the smart selection of NTA

One thing that makes practice easier is doing as many questions as possible on regular basis. Pick up the previous year papers and solve them without any help first, then pick up the answer keys (don't rely 100% on books for the accurate answer keys, hardly there is any; try to download as many answer keys as available from the CBSE NET website only). Give yourself marks and then concentrate on those questions and topics that you did wrong, (also concentrate on the questions that you did right, for example you know about only one option and that happens to be the correct answer too, about rest 3 options -you are unaware of; thinking th

You can appear for UGC NET in Management even though you have done Post-Graduation in Commerce. I want to add that the easiest subject to choose for UGC NET JRF is the one which you have studied in your Graduation and Post-Graduation. The minimum eligibility criteria stipulated at the NTA UGC bulletin is a Masters or equivalent degree with 55% marks from a University recognised by UGC. Therefore, you can either choose the subject in which you have done your graduation and post-graduation or you can also go for another subject of your interest. If you go for some other subject for UGC NET Exam http://bit.ly/2FSok2K apart from what you h
