Clearing the UPTET exam does not guarantee a job as a teacher. Qualifying the UPTET exam is one of the eligibility criteria for the post of teacher in primary and upper primary schools in Uttar Pradesh. After qualifying the UPTET exam, candidates can apply for teaching vacancies in government and private schools in Uttar Pradesh based on their qualifications, experience, and other eligibility criteria specified by the school authorities. The selection process for teaching vacancies may involve a written test followed by an interview.
