There are mixed reviews about Alfred State College. Positive reviews indicate that the campus is clean and quiet and students can always email a professor with a question and they are quick to respond. The class sizes are perfect. Students appreciate the fact that the professors are able to give you more personal attention than a lot of friends receive at other colleges. There are many sports teams, clubs, and general campus activities to participate in to meet new people and develop new friendships.

Some negative reviews mention that it's troublesome to go somewhere from college because of a lack of transportation facilities.
