Q:   Will my campus life be better at Brooklyn Law School than staying off-campus?

A:

Living on-campus or off-campus completely depends on the students and their choices.

Living on campus, students have full access to libraries, labs and other facilities beyond college hours. They get security 24/7. They don't have to manage their accommodation and other utilities. Students living on campus get to spend time with each other and build a network. The con of living on campus is that it might be more expensive than off campus housing and students have less freedom as compared to off-campus housing.

The total off-campus housing cost is estimated to be around $27,763 and the breakdown of the cost is mentioned below.

Housing$18,000
Living Expenses$7,000
Utilities$1,575
Transportation$1,188

On the other hand, living off campus, students can have more independence and they can manage their budget accordingly. Students have to commute to the college and they don't have the security like the students get on-campus. The on-campus housing charges range between $20,000 and $25,000. These housing charges exclude meals, for which students have to make their own arrangements.
