For on-campus scholarship opportunities, the scholarship period starts in early November of every year and the end date may vary depending on the scholarship opportunity.

CSU Northridge offers a range of scholarships on and off-campus for international students. Some of the scholarships offered at the university are given as follows:

  • Associated Students Dianne F. Harrison Award:  The amount of each award will be USD 500  per student and the scholarships are given on the basis of merit for both UG and PG students. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is needed  ( UG) and a 3.5 and above is need for (PG) students. 

  • Associated Students - International Matador Scholarship: The amount of each award will be $3,000.00 per student and the scholarships are given on the basis of merit for both UG and PG students. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is needed  ( UG) and a 3.5 and above is need for (PG) students. 

  • Cindy and Dan Chernow Graduate Student Scholarship: The amount of each award will be $2000 per student and the scholarships are given on the basis of merit for PG students. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is needed  ( UG) with additional requirements. Applicants are suggested to check the official website. 

  • College and Department Scholarships: The International Graduate Student Program will be awarded to continuing international graduate students. Recipients of this award will each receive $1,000.00.an they must have a minimum gpa of 3.5 and above to receive this scholarships. Applicants require additional requirements as well to prove ther scholarships.
