The main campus is located in Westerville, Ohio. Established in 1981, it started as a real estate preparatory school. In 2006, the institute began offering practical diplomas in nursing along with nursing associate degrees at its West Chester campus. These programs were later offered on the other campuses. In 2011, the Ohio Board of Regents gave the institute the authority to start bachelor’s degree courses. The first RSN-BSN online class was held in October 2011. Then, later in 2013, the BSN (Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing) degree was launched under the accreditation of the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. To enhance the overall educational experience of the students, the institute started its realistic curriculum-based courses along with lab simulations that will help the students turn into professional nurses in the future.
The real estate and business courses are offered by the Hondros College of Business that is a separate institute. The institute offers Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, Practical Nursing Diploma, and Associate of Applied Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. All these courses are accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), and the BSN degree is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The practical degree and associate degree courses are accredited by the Ohio Board of Nursing. Furthermore, the institute is under the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools. For offering greater accessibility to students, the online version of the RSN-BSN course is available at the main campus at Westerville.
