Tips: There will be a good number of assignments in some courses and some will have to complete the projects which help in gaining practical experience. There is no need to worry about the prerequisites as the course is designed in such a way that even for people from non CS background can easily cope with the course.

Tips: Check for locality and college infrastructure, I don't think this campus is as big as other reputed Universities. New paltz is more like a suburban. I suggest everyone check the locality on Google Earth before finalizing because if it is not located in downtown, it's very spacious.

Likes (Safety): Low crime rate, safe roads, good police surveillance. Cops are really strict regarding traffic rules. Since rules are very different from India it takes some time to adapt to them. People around here are friendly. I ha...
