The Brown and Gold Commitment Award of Wyoming University is eligible for first-time entering freshmen international students. It is offered as a placeholder and shall be funded with individual scholarships that are made possible through the generosity of Foundation donors and / or other institutional aid. Funding of this award is based on the completion of the general application and any recommended applications within WyoScholarships. The award amount of this commitment is as follows:

  1. The Brown and Gold Commitment is only available to students seeking their first bachelor's degree.

  2. The scholarship is renewable for up to 8 semesters (4 academic years) or up to the first bachelor's degree, whichever comes first.

  3. Students must continue to be enrolled full-time in Laramie campus courses (12 semester hours) during the Fall and Spring Semesters every year. However, the scholarship is not available during the Summer Semester.

  4. Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative UW GPA (evaluated at the end of each Spring Semester).
