MBA Review at VELS College.
Placements: More than 80 percent of students are in college. The highest package is 13 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. DHL, TCS, and ZOHO are the recruiting companies. All the students got internships with the help and guidance of faculty. The CII faculty provided help and support, playing a main part in the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the Wi-Fi and library are decent. The colleagues say the hostel is not good. It is okay, but not perfect. Most of the students are coming from nearby PG rooms. In the hostel, they have a gym and many facilities for the students.
Faculty: Faculty are the backbone of this course. The teaching is good and perfect; all faculty are Ph.D. holders. The exams and curriculum are perfect. They are updated year by year. The semester exams, if you study, are easy; most students pass.
Other: Friends and lectures tell me this course provides industry knowledge. They have a lot of events, but the most special one is Nakshatra.

VELS School of Management Studies and Commerce is a good college.
Placements: There were 100% placements last year, but not all students got placed by the college. If you don't get placement in a college, staff will help you with their sources. The college has a very good name in the market. The additional certification course helps you to gain placements.
Infrastructure: The hostel is fine, but the food is not good. It is recommended to stay in rented rooms or PGs. It will allow you to get some good food while saving money. For MBA students, there is a centralised air conditioning system in classrooms and a smart class. There are 2 private canteens inside the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members put their full effort into teaching you. Everyone has a doctorate. It's easy to get a degree at VELS University. About 90% of students passed last semester. They often conduct examinations before the semester to train you. We have 2 industry visits in a semester.
Other: The campus is good. There will be many functions. The college will be liberal. Phones are allowed.

I am satisfied with faculty members, infrastructure, and extra ordinary library.
Placements: Around 45% of our batch got placed due to COVID and many had their own business in this specialized field so there were fewer placements. The highest salary package was 3.5 LPA and the lowest was 1.85 LPA. The top recruiting companies were leap international, fynsea logistics, and the rests were BPOs or marketing types of companies.
Infrastructure: The department of MBA is fully air-conditioned and there is a digital library that students could access for free. Classrooms are good but yet the food in the hostel is not up to the mark. There is an inbuilt Vasantha Bhavan inside and two other separate canteens. College also has sports but fully focused on football and Kabaddi but has to give equal importance to other sports too.
Faculty: Teachers in MBA and shipping are industry experts who are in the field for more than 25 years. College is in tie-up with CII (Confederation of Indian industries), thus the MBA Certificate gives an edge with association with CII. The course curriculum is completely relevant to the industry as they make us what to choose and what not. The semester exams were moderate as there is an industry experts teaching we know content a lot outside the book.
Other: As there are many engineers out and I do not want to become one of them so did my MBA in logistics which I know has a good future if not in India at least there are lots of opportunities abroad. Especially in Dubai, Norway, Germany, and Singapore. Teachers are knowledgeable but I would request them to open their network to students, as they are in this industry for more than 25 years. There are many events held to enjoy life and can take part in events. There are scholarships available for sports quota, or if you are good at your studies you could claim up to a 25% scholarship. The campus has whooping 10000 students and when leaving college there is a heavy crowd. College supports extracurricular activities.
