Additional Criteria & Deductions

  1. All the subjects that an aspirant includes in calculating their ‘Best Four’ percentage “must have at least 70% theory component of the examination. In case the subject to be considered does not have at least 70% theory component, then the marks obtained in theory and practical shall be converted to 70% and 30% respectively, on pro-rata basis. The marks so arrived at will then be considered for calculation of Best Four”, informs Delhi University’s official website.
  2. The aspirant should have studied as well as passed the Mathematics/Business Mathematics in their qualifying examination for admission in BCom (Hons) programme.
  3. Applicants should calculate their Best of Four percentage in such a way that it is a unique number and it is higher than any other combination of ‘best four’ subjects.
  4. Marks secured by aspirants in Physics/Chemistry/Biology subjects should be in the ratio of 70:30 (theory: practical). If not calculated in this manner, the marks calculated on pro-rata basis will be considered
