NEET 2021 Result Expected After October 10

NEET 2021 result is expected anytime soon. NTA is likely to release the NEET result 2021 after October 10, post conclusion of the NEET 2021 Phase 2 registration procedure. Candidates have to check their NEET 2021 results and download their scorecards online by visiting the official website of the exam. Although NTA has not stated a particular date of declaring the NEET 2021 result, it can be estimated that the result will be declared in the second week of October, within a month of conducting the test, which was September 12. Moreover, NTA had also stated that the NEET 2021 Phase 2 application form would be released prior to the NEET 2021 result. Hence, after assessing these factors, the tentative date of the result of NEET 2021 can be estimated to be around October 12.

Steps to Download NEET 2021 Scorecard

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to check the NEET 2021 result and download the scorecard:

• Visit the official website of NEET, i.e. www.neet.nta.nic.in

• Click on the tab indicating NEET 2021 result

• Login with the NEET 2021 application number and password or date of birth

• Download NEET 2021 scorecard in PDF format

What Information Will NEET 2021 Result Carry

The NEET 2021 result or scorecard will carry the following information:

• Candidate's name

• Candidate’s roll number

• Category

• Application number

• Overall score

• Subject-wise score

• Percentile score

• All India Rank

• Qualifying status

• NEET AIR for 15 per cent AIQ seats

• NEET cut off score

NEET 2021 Marking Scheme

The NEET marks will be calculated on the basis of the following scheme:

• For each correct answer, four marks will be awarded

• For each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted

• No marks will be awarded or deducted for unattempted questions or attempting extra questions

NTA is yet to release the NEET 2021 answer keys and question papers. It is expected that the provisional answer keys will be released soon and candidates can submit challenges in the same week. NTA may release the final answer keys along with the result.

NEET 2021 was conducted in a paper-pencil based mode in 202 cities across India and abroad. Around 15 lakh candidates have taken the test.
