The admission officials may need the admit card for verification and other purposes. So, it is a good idea to preserve the admit card until the admission process is over.

IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Seat Allocation for CEED 2024 qualified candidates.

Instead, the candidate will have to apply to the participating colleges individually. The participating colleges will conduct their respective counseling processes.

Though the CEED syllabus has been revised, some topics are the same as in the previous edition. So, you can solve problems related to those topics in the sample papers.

The CEED 2024 question paper has two sections - Part A and Part B.

Part A will include NAT, MSQ, and MCQ questions. For incorrect attempts, the candidate will be penalized for MSQ and MCQ-type questions. However, there is no negative marking for NAT-type questions.

Also, considering Part B is a subjective paper, there is no negative marking.

Sketching questions in CEED 2024 may cover topics like - representation, in the form of geometric figures like lines, squares, and triangles, outline drawings, etc.

 Early on, you may focus on outline drawing, representation, and the easier aspects. As you become more capable, you may work on the following skills.

• Shape of the figure

• Proportion

• Line quality

If we compare the difficulty level of all design entrance exams conducted for PG-level courses, then CEED is slightly easier than the NID Entrance Exam. This is primarily because the drawing questions asked in the NID DAT are considered to be tougher than those asked in the CEED exam.

CEED 2024 draft answer key will be released on January 23, 2024. But note that the answer key will only be released for Part A.

No, the candidate is not allowed to make any changes to the exam center that has been allocated. Also, admission officials will not entertain any such requests.

To be eligible for admission to the M.Des program, the candidates must have completed a degree/diploma/PG degree program of a minimum of THREE years (after 10+2 level), or must be appearing for the final examination of such a program by July 2024, or must have passed the GD Arts diploma program (10+5 level) by July 2024.
