Q:   Is it hard to get admission to Copenhagen University?

University of Copenhagen in one of the top universities in Europe, making it a quite popular choice for students all around the world to get an admit here. As the university gets applications from the entire world, they are quite selective in choosing the best candidates for their university. The Copenhagen University acceptance rate stands at 38.1% in 2023, making it a moderately difficult school to get into.

Although, by following all the requirements the chances increase. The students should focus on their scores, meet the Danish and English language requirements, do well on their standardized entrance tests SAT/ACT and GMAT/GRE, and abide by all the deadlines.

Q:   Are all the courses at Copenhagen University taught in English?

A: 

University of Copenhagen takes students from all around the world, but not all the programs offered are taught in English. UG courses are only taught in Danish, so the International students must take the exam of Studieprøven i dansk, and prove the native level of this language. 

Most of the PG programs are taught in English, so the International students have to prove their English proficiency by taking TOEFL/IELTS or Cambridge English test.

Q:   How do I take admission in MSc at University of Copenhagen?

A: 

To get admission in MSc at Copenhagen university, a student must follow these steps:

Step 1-Choose a program: International students have to choose a program among various bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate programs and the eligibility criteria.

Step 2- Fill out the application form: Now go to the official website admission portal(dans.stads.dk/SelfUserRegistration/faces/WelcomePage.jspx) to apply for the program and fill out the required details like academic history, essay, standardized test score, English language proficiency scores.

Step 3-Pay application fee: Students must pay the application fee of EUR 100(INR 9,210)

Step 4-Wait for a response: The Copenhagen University will review the application and within a few weeks they will provide an offer letter to join the program, if they like your application

Step 5-Pay tuition fees: To get enrolled in the first semester, international students have to pay tuition fees according to the course.

Copenhagen University offers admissions worldwide, when the students are able to meet the requirements by the school. For UG levels the international students have to take a Danish Proficiency test, on the other hand it is not a requirement for the PG level programs at the University of Copenhagen.
