The application process at Deakin University may depend on the course and study level. However, here is the application process for UG and PG courses:

The Undergraduate Application Process:

Step 1: The applicant must choose their interested course.

Step 2: The applicant must thoroughly check if they meet the university’s requirements.

Step 3:  You should meet the entry requirements checklist before applying:

• Transcripts of your high school (applicants must have a minimum percentage between 60-80%. However, the percentage depends on the course chosen by the individual. 

•   Must meet minimum English requirements

•    Student visa 

• The requirements might vary depending on the course 

Step 4: Applicants must submit the English requirements to meet the standard of the university

Step 5: The applicants can submit their application after your requirements are ready

Step 6: the applicants must pay an application fee of AUD 55 ( if you're applying in person or through the mail) 

Step 7: After submitting the application, applicants will be given a login id and password to check their application status.

Postgraduation Application Process: 

Step 1: The applicant must choose their interest course.

• Updated CV or resume

•  Personal statements

Step 6: the individual must pay an application fee of AUD 55 ( if you're applying in person, through the mail, or in person).

 Deakin University allows applications from international students and sets specific academic requirements for admission.

Undergraduate and Postgraduate Requirements: 

 Undergraduate Requirments: 

•  A minimum score of 65% in class XII is required for arts and education programs.

• For Business and health programs, a minimum score of 65% in class XII is required. 

• A minimum score of 80% in class XII is required for law programs.

• For science, engineering and built environment programs, a minimum score of 65% is required in class XII.

In addition to the academic requirements, all international students whose first language is not English must have their proficiency in the English Language. 

The English language proficiency requirements are categorised into different bands as the following:

Postgraduate requirements: 

• Applicants must have an approved degree from a recognised University or other educational institution. 

• Qualification through relevant professional or equivalent industrial experience 

• Applicants applying for PG programs must have an English language proficiency requirement. The following are the requirements of PG courses:

As the Deakin University has an acceptance rate of 75% which means out of 100 students 71 students are accepted . Applicants must check their admission documents thoroughly in order to get selected.To be admitted to the Deakin University it is recommended to have a strong academic profile, including competitive scores in the GMAT or GREs.  However, the admission process at the Deakin University takes a holistic approach, considering multiple factors in the student's profile. These factors include Leadership, Work experience, essays, LOR and interviews that the students give during their admission process. 

International Students can apply to Deakin University through the application portal of the university website or they can take help from an agent. Before filling the application, the international applicants are required to submit a non-refundable application fee of AUD 55 (INR 2,992) at Deakin University.
